Ruth’s Diabetes Control Herbal Tincture is a combination of plant extracts that have been handcrafted to create a natural healing formula. Herbal tinctures have been used as “people’s medicine” in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Latin America for centuries. It has only been with the development of modern western (largely American) pharmaceutical influence that herbal remedies, including tinctures, have nearly vanished from our medicine cabinet. However, they are making a comeback along with many other natural forms of healing.
Ruth has found that the mixture of blends, from both eastern and western herbs, produce a synergy whereby the combination creates a whole formula that is more powerful than the individual herbs by themselves. Most health food stores only sell individual tinctures or limited blends. We have found blends (as attested to by various clients) to be much more effective.
Start with a ¼ of a teaspoon (about a ¼ dropper of a one-ounce bottle) twice daily for a week. Take under the tongue, or dilute with water or tea. Once the herbal potion is in the body’s system, the dosage can be reduced to once a day, depending on the tincture and the severity of the complaint.
Keep cool and out of direct sun light. Shelf life is 3-4 years, but shorter for the alcohol-free version.
